PetroENG completed the installation of three above-ground diesel tanks and associated civil, mechanical, and safety infrastructure at the Engen South Cape Petroleum depot in Mossel Bay.
The Challenge
Deliver a new diesel storage facility with full HSSE compliance and robust spill protection within a 6-month timeframe.
The Solution
PetroENG delivered:
- Civil works – double-walled bund, pump island, filling island, and spill slabs
- Tank installation – 3 × 23,000 L ASTs with 2 NSO3 oil separators
- Mechanical works – pipework, vent pipes, stairs, walkways, suction and pressure systems
- Pressure testing of all lines
- Fuel management – Smith meter system for truck filling operations
- HSSE & QA/QC – compliance with OHS Act and client specifications
